Blerg AI is the umbrella over a growing pile of experiments. Some are useful tools people pay for. Some are delightful nonsense that exist because the idea wouldn't leave me alone. All of them are built fast, built weird, and built with AI as a co-conspirator rather than a gimmick.
The name? A well-timed groan of frustration — the exact sound you make right before you decide to just build the thing yourself.
How I build the weird stuff
Chase the itch
Every project starts as a problem that won't shut up, or an idea too fun to ignore.
Prototype in a weekend
AI turns 'what if' into 'here, click this' before the excitement wears off.
Ship, then listen
Get it in front of real people early. Their reactions write the roadmap.
Keep it or kill it
The useful ones grow up. The rest become good stories. No egos, no sunk cost.
Killed in public.
“Keep it or kill it” only counts if you can see the bodies. Projects that don't earn their keep get an honest obituary here, not a quiet 404.
